Abstract

X-ray Radiation Effects on Germination and Growth of Echinacea angustifolia: X-ray technology is being applied to more than just humans, but to plants as well! Instead of being able to see the human bone structure we are also now able to see the plant seed structure. X-rays are a form of radiation that can have health impacts on humans and plants alike. Come learn how x-ray radiation effects the germination and seedling growth (health) of the Narrow-leaf Purple Coneflower, Echinacea angustifolia.
