Abstract

Studying abroad at the largest university in New Zealand taught us that when you leave your "comfort zone," you grow as a person and as a student. You see places that you would never have seen, you meet people you otherwise wouldn’t have crossed paths with, you learn about yourself, you learn in a new way, and you gain a better perspective of the world. We discovered that the connections you make to people and places help to define who you are and cultivate a drive to continuously expand your knowledge of the world around you.
