Abstract

On the ACM Chicago arts program spring 2012, I saw a journey, but one particular challenge stood out among this, to learn to be open with and accepting of myself. Amazing “teachers” who helped me understand my place in this world through challenging coursework and innovative projects. Professors, Coworkers, Fellow Students, and Community members helped me learn from every experience around me, see new ideas from multiple perspectives, and have faith in everything I endeavor. In total I would like to demonstrate that Chicago, the city, and its arts helped me become a more self-aware person and confident decision maker.
