Presentation Title

Abstract

Investors, analysts, and fund managers are constantly trying to find ways to “beat the market” by earning returns above a benchmark stock index. Using regression analysis, I will examine the ability to use asset allocation, combining fundamental and technical analysis, to time the market and provide investor portfolio returns that can beat benchmark returns. If successful, such a strategy would increase the probability of “picking winners” while their prices are on the rise and, at the same time, reduce the volatility that dampens investor returns.
