As a non-traditional age student majoring in mathematics and secondary education, I find writing to be my opportunity to place technical and familial questions aside in favor of thoughtful exploration. I love reading about and discussing a variety of topics but derive my greatest satisfaction from spinning fibers of knowledge and experience into threads of ideas and theories. I write to produce a tapestry reflective of both my comprehension of the subject and the richness its contemplation has brought to my life. When I'm not writing, studying or attending classes, I am a wife, the mother of three WONDERFUL teenage daughters, a mathematics tutor, a genealogical researcher, a gardener of perennials, a co-founder of the Latter-Day Saints Student Association at Lake Forest College (LDSSA), a member of the Curriculum and Facilities Committee at Mundelein High School, and a Sunday School teacher in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
